Hey Everyone! Our long trip out to California ended last Saturday after spending a lot of time with friends and family. I'm gonna give you the photo version of the trip, even though not all the pictures are of the best quality!



We started the trip out with going to the Grand Canyon




We went hiking in Sedona with some friends we stayed with in Arizona

My hair is quite long and fluffy when brushed out!

I got my "tresses trimmed" courtesy of my Wonderful Aunt





We brought the snow with us!

We were able to go to Disneyland courtesy of a sweet cousin! It was so special and fun to spend time with their family.

A fun time with My Grandma, Aunt and Cousins. We all got together at my Great-aunt and uncles house and had an awesome time.



Sadly I was sick during theses couple days so I wasn't able to be with everyone as much as I would have liked to :(  But when everyone went to In 'n' Out they were sure to bring me back some food!

We were able to spend some time with some of our dear, sweet friends for a little while but definitely not long enough

Jesse and Ezra made a chariot out of an old stroller and had a ball with it

We were blessed with a night of fellowship with friends that we haven't seen in a long time

Some of our cousins introduced us to the Beatles Rock Band on the Wii. I didn't really know any Beatles songs, so it was fun to be introduced. So for the rest of the trip we had the Yellow Submarine, Hard Days night and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds running though our heads.

We were very impressed with his heart making skills

The day after we got home was Dad's birthday! Someone brought a 7 lb. chocolate cake from Costco that was to die for!! Death by chocolate! I highly recommend it but it is definitely not for the weak at heart.

Sorry I haven't posted for so long. We are still in CA saying goodbye to friends and family. We're having a great time but are extremely busy and are suffering from a little cold. 

I'll do a big catch up post with pictures soon.

I had an awesome Sunday! We got here, in CA, Saturday night. We have been able to see some family on my Dad's side as well as getting to go to a home church and hymn sing. The home church and hymn sing that we went to was with our old Homeschool group and it was such a blessing to see old friends and meet new ones. I am really looking forward to spending more time with friends that we haven't seen in a very long time!!

If you are in CA I can't wait to see you and if you are in GA, FL, (insert state) or MT I miss you tons and can't wait to see/hear from you! I'll try to keep everyone updated!

The Grand Canyon was amazing. It was so cool to see it in person for the first time. It is so massive that it takes your breath away, it almost looks like it can't possibly be real. It was so amazing to see what God has made and to have been able to enjoy it close up. 

We were also blessed by being able to see a lot of elk in the park along with some deer and javelina. The elk had absolutely no fear of humans and were right alongside the road leisurely eating. I could have reached out and touched several cows with their calves.

We are officially on the road again! We left on Sunday to head to California to say goodbye to friends and family. We are staying with some some friends in Flagstaff currently and got to see the Grand Canyon! I'll post pictures soon, I promise.

Before we left we successfully moved out of our pastor's basement and moved all of our things up to North Georgia, where we will be doing language training for the next 6 months.

We are planning to be in California tomorrow and then stay through all of February.
