picture something with me: 2 cars; 1 small, old toyota truck and a land cruiser loaded down with folks.  4 ladies: amanda, mom, myself and aunt e were in the truck, listening for an unusual sound that the amanda reported the car had been making the last couple days.  we all decided that it sounded like something was wrong with the front, left tire.  but the tire had looked fine so, we kept going. 

we were chatting away about the possible problems the sound could be, while cruising down the main road in bobo along with lots of other motos, half-broken vehicles and walkers.
 when all of the sudden 2 things happen at once.
1.) i see a tire go flying down the road chasing down some folks and finally ending up in a ditch
2.) the truck tips forward and to the left and we go sliding for a good while... without a 4th wheel.
conclusion: the front, left tire was bad and the whole thing came flying off while we were driving. bolts and all. the whole thing just popped off.

so, after  are stuck in the middle of the road, in a truck with 3 wheels on and the other in the ditch.  thankfully dad and the guys were right behind us and were able to put it all back together.
a handful of bolts found on the road, a retrieved tire, 12 tubaboo in the middle of the road and 30 minutes later, the runaway wheel was safely back on the truck.

all in all nobody was hurt (thank God), we worked up an (additional) sweat and we all thoroughly enjoyed the local pool, despite the amount of foliage and bugs we were swimming with…
