Annecy

5.11.13

On our school break we were able to go to Annacy, a smallish town about 4 hours outside of Paris.  Our friends that came to visit had gone to Annacy last year so it was cool to see it after we had heard so much about it from them.
After being in Paris for so long it was amazing to see mountains again!!  It was such a blessing to be in our "natural habitat".  Some of you guys know that for a while we had been planning on going to language school in Albertville, which isn't very far from Annacy.  I think we all struggled a little bit coming back to Paris knowing that we could have been in Alberville.
But then we were reminded that God has a reason for us being here, even if it isn't our top choice.  We can already see the people that He has brought into our lives for a reason.  And we're all looking forward to see what He will continue to do!

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
Jeremiah 29:11

    1. Thanks and I miss you too!! Yeah, we actually all cut our hair, it was just too much work trying to keep it long. It's been hard trying to figure out how to handle my curls here with the different water and shampoo and stuff. Thankfully it hasn't totally freaked yet!!

    1. They were so cool. It was really fun to see people have these big, old keys on their regular key chains.
